Drone countermeasures equipment is a defense system designed to counter "unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations without permission" (commonly known as "black flying" drones). It ensures airspace safety through techniques such as electronic jamming, physical interception, and signal spoofing. Its core technology falls into three categories:
1. Electronic interference
By emitting high-power noise signals in the 2.4Hz/5.8GHz frequency bands, the communication link and GPS navigation of drones can be blocked, forcing them to hover, return, or crash. Portable jamming guns can cut off control signals within 3 seconds, making them suitable for use in sensitive areas such as airports and military bases. The directional jamming equipment developed by Chengdu Ba San Si Yi can also selectively suppress targets, avoiding collateral damage to legitimate devices.
2. Physical interception
Including hard-kill methods such as net capture systems and laser weapons. The carbon fiber capture net can intercept drones traveling at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, while high-energy lasers can precisely burn and destroy key components of drones, achieving instantaneous destruction. The US "Morpheus" system, combined with microwave weapons, can counter drone swarms.
3. Intelligent deception
By simulating control signals or falsifying GPS coordinates, drones can be induced to deviate from their flight paths. The integrated detection, jamming, and navigation deception equipment can actively take over control of the target.
Such equipment has been widely applied in scenarios such as military defense, security for major events, and airport protection, with technology evolving towards multi-band coordination and AI-based autonomous decision-making.
